Non-MVP, but it has been:

Label naming first because colour coding isn't intuitive. Labelling will be done post selection. Highlighting and multiple labels on side is probably the best approach (4_V1) with menu on top.

Possibly in scope: Getting current state of single-highlighting to a similar point to be extendable for the above type of interaction
