@januszm There's never any ambiguity with respect to operator precedence for Ruby itself. We used the word in the sense that there's potential ambiguity for the readers of the code...
I'm fine with the proposed change, but we definitely won't be able to remove this from RuboCop itself any time soon.
Apart from my remark about the `--spawn-server` flag we'll also need to document the differences on JRuby in the docs.

Perhaps this will work if rebased on top of `master`? (after @tdeo's recent changes there)
Seems like an useful addition. As I don't use VS Code I can't comment much on the implementation, but we'll need to get the CI build green before we can...
FYI - I'll be cutting a new release some time tomorrow, so we'll have to wrap this up today if you want it to make the release.
