DS1525+ Good performance until DSM OS freeze

Getting great speed until it locks up the dsm os requiring a reboot. Running Hyper backup and directing all backup traffic through the 5Gbit/s adapter plugged into the front usb port of a DS1525+ running DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 4.

Adapter is connected directly to a Netgear MS510TXM port and shows that it properly negotiated the speed. Jumbo packets set with an MTU of 9000. The backup destination is connected on a 10Gbit/s port.

I was getting stable transfer speeds of upwards of 200MB/s for approximately 5min on each of the 3 tests I ran before the destination Hyper Backup drops connection to the source.

Rebooting the system is the only option. None of the other network connections function.
