System won't boot with USB dongle connected (DS216J / RTL8156B Adapter)

Hi,

I successfully installed the USB dongle, and after enabling the auto-discovery, it worked flawlessly.

I have one issue: After restart, neither the internal nor dongle ethernet interfaces are started. When I unplug the USB, the booting continues (and makes the beep sound), and the USB ethernet works when reconnected.

I looked through the issues and found a hint to schedule the synonet command on boot, but it didn't helped.

It's not a big issue. I don't have many unwanted restart events due to power outages, but it requires manual intervention, which is still inconvenient.

Is there a known resolution to this problem?

If removing the device from USB resumes the boot process, checking the logs of what happened might show me something. https://github.com/bb-qq/r8152/wiki/Troubleshooting#how-to-investigate-if-the-driver-does-not-work-properly
