Netbox-Sync is removing IPs from interfaces that it does not find in VMware

Hi Ricardo..

After the last update, the netbox-sync script is removing IPs from interfaces that it does not find in VMware, but there are some IPs that exist and I enter them manually and the script is still removing them.

Is it possible to disable it so that it does not remove IPs that are not synchronized by the script?

Hi,

yes there were some changes regarding the detection and usage of IP addresses. Is it possible that this issue occurs with VMs that don't have VMware tools installed or running an old version of VMware tools?

Hi Ricardo.

Yes. This VMs have old version of Vmtools or are not installed. It's possible to not remove the IP address inputed manually or it's a bug/normally behavior?

It should leave the addresses if outdated vmware tools are discovered, I think. Can you run the script with -l DEBUG2 and poat the output for the part of one VM where this happens? Thank you
