The release notes for rules_go suggest using .zip.

What did you expect to see?

The release notes for rules_go should suggest .tar.gz.

What did you see instead?

Every other ruleset uses tar.gz. The archive is smaller (900kb vs 1.2MB) and it would be nice to standardise.
