Game version is not supported!

I keep getting the error "game version is not supported!" when trying to launch the game. Here is what I get from logs

== D2GL v1.3.3 logging started. (2024/7/29) ==

[02:34:18][INFO] Renderer Api: Glide [02:34:20][ERROR] Game version is not supported!

No other logs are being generated but it's on version 1.14d lutris

Any idea? Thanks

I recommend you run the game on windows platform, and make sure the game version is original

I'm getting the same error. I downloaded and installed the original D2 + LoD from Blizzard, input my CD keys, and it plays perfectly. When I try using d2gl and the flag, I get an error saying "Game version not supported".

I assume d2gl is doing something weird to get the game version on startup that doesn't work, so it kills the game entirely. Since it doesn't even get to the point of generating a config file, I can't try and tweak any configs to fix it.
