Wishlist - Keyboard shortcut or button to skip to next spike in a graph

Open kieranjol opened this issue 9 years ago • 1 comments

I think that it would be useful if you could skip to the next spike in a particular graph. Perhaps the user could also be able to set the values which would constitute as a spike, e.g. skip to TOUTS with a value of >0.006. This could be a very quick way of determining what is a scene change and what is an artefact when in the player window.

Thanks,

Kieran.

I'll add a +1 to this - it would be helpful to quickly identify possible program issues. For instance, the V DIF chart is useful to essentially identify cuts in the program. I'd like to have assistants do a quick check to make sure there are no black frames, glitches, 'media offline' frames, etc. in outputs, and the ability to set a keyboard shortcut and a threshold would make it quick and easy to quickly view frames that are vastly different from the previous frame, and identify any glaring edit / render issues.
