y axis zoom issues

Open dericed opened this issue 7 years ago • 1 comments

As originally reported (in the wrong place) at https://github.com/bavc/qctools/pull/562#issuecomment-397377785.

If a long file is processing, the zoom resets when the mouse-wheel is released. Can the central of the zoom be adjusted? For instance if the range is 0-1, mousing over any part of it seems to center the zoom around 0.5, but what if I want to zoom to see details in the 0-0.1 range?

Related to #563, but the shift zoom is confusing as the x-axis is never updated so shift-zoom only seems to misalign one plot.

How can the zoomed state by reset to defaults?

Hi @ElderOrb I was reviewing this and realized that mouse-wheel zooming no longer works on the graphs. The prior behavior was that a mouse-wheel move would zoom in or out at the position that the mouse was over.

Possibly we need to split mouse-wheel zooms in two. Maybe something like Shift+mouse-wheel does temporal zoom (like magnifying lens + and -) whereas regular mouse-wheel handles y-axis zoom.
