Names of likelihoods

Open miguelzuma opened this issue 7 years ago • 4 comments

A suggestion: would it be possible to start including the name of the experiments in the likelihoods? For instance, 'sn' could be labeled as 'sn_union', 'lowlike' as 'wmap_lowlike', etc...

I'd also suggest including more comment in the .data files for each likelihood (it would be a good practice that they include at least a reference to a paper or a website).

Hi Miguel, It's a good suggestion. I'm already doing these things for all likelihoods that i work on, but we should make it the standard. Best, Thejs

Hi all,

By the way.. What is the name of sdss_lgr_DR4 likelihood?

Hi Jorge, If you mean the name to add to the list of experiments in the param file you almost got it right, it is 'sdss_lrgDR4'. Best, Thejs

Many thanks,

By the way.. in MP 2.2 there is a bug in the likelihood_class.py archive when trying to use use WiggleZ and SDSS data. There are several '/' missing on datafile calls.

Best
