Discussed with Samuel: flag is currently broken, however since upgrades will be tied to LF 1.16, as will daml v3 script, we can just remove the flag/boolean and enable upgrade...

Interfaces are not yet supported.

Assess how much work this will be. If it's more than a day, I would say to push back as this will be removed for 3.x anyway.
