Possible to reduce sensitivity of fingerprint?

Is it possible to change the sensitivity of the sensor? When it is bright outside, the sensor assumes that there is an unknown finger on the sensor although it might be just the light.

Is it therefore possible to reduce the sensitivity in some way?
