Manual Interaction: Ignore first x seconds

Open henfri opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Hello,

the lights which I control have a function to slowly dim to the target value (e.g. if I switch on, it Dims to 100% within 5s).

Since I use this function, adaptive lighting seems not to work anymore and I think that this slow dimming to the target is seen as a manual user-interaction so that Adaptive Lighting becomes inactive.

Would it be possible to ignore manual interaction for a configurable time after switch on?

Greetings, Hendrik

Hmm interesting, my lights also turn on slowly but do not have that issue. I've a hue and I'm using hue groups at the hue level bridge and AL is only operating on those groups. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Hi. I think this will also help with an issue I have with tuya lights. I have some lights on local tuya (internet blocked from them) and the take control doesn't work on them properly. When the lights are turned on, they seem to change some settings and the take control understands that as a manual user-interaction, so the adaptive lighting is not activated when the take control function is selected. A function to ignore manual interaction for x seconds after they are turned on should solve this as well.
