This didn't happen in versions below 1.6.11. According to fdroid, the previous version was 1.6.9

When uploading a webp photo alongside another "supported file format" e.g. tif, the usual (jpeg) popup for a successful upload appears for all files. The popup message for webp appears...

Why isn't this a bug? The uploader shows that tif is among the supported file types while it isn't.

I see, it's not officially among the supported file types. Strange that it's still displayed as one.
