Changing Pinger Ping Timeout in ms

Is it possible to change the timeout that the Pinger uses, either globally or per host ?

I'm guessing the default timeout is the system-wide default (4000ms ?).

It would be really useful to be able to override the default on specific hosts (extra setting on Status / Control tab ?)
