After 1803, No Machines Show Online
After I installed April 2018 update, no systems show as online, except the machine that I'm on. They show in network neighborhood, but are not available in Wake On LAN. It's like WOL can't see the IP.
Are you able to ping one of those machines from your machine that you are on? From the command line?
I changed the FQDN/IP to the IP address and some of the machines show as online, but not all.
I can ping the machines that show as online but the ones that show as offline ping fails. I can remote desktop to them OK whether they show online or offline.
That sounds like a firewall issue. You might have icmp echo blocked on those machines, therefore no ping.
I'm able to manually ping each device listed in WOL. I'm unable to turn off pinger as WOL starts.

Hi basildane.
Sorry it took me so long to get back.
I'm not sure what exactly icmp echo does, but it isn't blocked.
I have been doing a lot of searching about this issue, and I'm definitely not alone. The biggest issue was that MS disabled Function Discovery Resource Publication and Function Discovery Provider List services as default now.
Turning those back on at least helped with seeing computers on the network now.
This did not resolve the issue of only some system showing correctly in WOL and I still have to use the IP address.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
