Cannot Recover from Suspense Mode
Hi!
After updating to 2.0.0 (and 2.0.1), the computer can no longer recover from Suspense Mode. Whenever it goes to suspense, the screen for setting the password does not show and all I get is a black screen. I then need to press the power button to forcefully kill and restart it.
For reference this is my spec:
I'm on AMD and experience something potentially similar. When I come back to my laptop, the password prompt is there, but I can not type on either my USB keyboard or the built in keyboard on my laptop. I have to power cycle to get past that.

But you can see the input screen or get a black screen of death? I think the issue is related to NVIDIA :( and how it interacts with hyprland. After suspend it cant draw to the screen.
After adding nouveau to blacklist at /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf and adding the i975 first on modules at /etc/mkinitcpio.conf I can now see the input for a second, and then goes back to black screen
Following a thread on omarchy #nvidia discord channel a fix was found for Limine by ryguyguinee:
"I had to do a couple things after researching how Hyprland recommends Nvidia and multi-GPU set up. My GPUs are Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile and AMD Radeon Vega Mobile.
- I added nvidia.NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1 and nvidia-drm.modeset=1 to my /boot/limine.conf file.
- I added export AQ_DRM_DEVICES="/dev/dri/card2:/dev/dri/card1 to my .config/uwsm/env file.
Both of these changes are suggestions from Hyprland's for managing which card is being prioritized for rendering. Now in addition to this,
I had to solve the suspend issue where my screen was going black. To do this I: 3. Enabled nvidia-hibernate.service, nvidia-persistenced.service, nvidia-resume.service, and nvidia-suspend.service.
After making these changes I rebooted and upon testing the suspend service from Walker it followed the steps correctly to lock and suspend. Hitting a key wakes up the system and presents me with the password prompt."
But the issue still persists on my end (GRUB, not Limine).
For tracing, I've set (1) at /etc/default/grub => GRUB_CMDLINED_LINUX_DEFAULT , and (2) at my uwsm env file, and (3) enabled all.
I currently suspect that something must have changed on the transition of grub => limine and caused the issue on 2.0.0. Just dont know what the root cause is specifically at this point and how to fix it without manuallly migrating to Limine
experiencing same here on omarchy 2.1.0 on an amd system.
Same here, Tuxedo InfinityBook 14 gen10 w/AMD HX 370.
It usually works for me now. I suspend from the SUPER+ESC menu, and allow the laptop to suspend properly (a few seconds) before I close the lid. The next morning it resumes perfectly.
Same for me, black unresponsive screen if I leave the laptop for a while and it has gone to suspend Omarchy v3.0.2
same for me, black screen if I leave it for a while.
