double spending?

Thanks so much for implementing this; I'm very interested in this work. Curious, does this implementation prevent double spending of hashes/stamps?

It actually did a few revisions back, but I reorganized it and lost that functionality. Feel free to add it back :) I have been meaning to add that myself.
