Multiple Versions of VSCode launching

This extension is causing the VSCode application to show up multiple times in my dock (MacOS 11.6.4). It seems to lead to slow performance because of multiple instances of the app running

I have the same issue on MacOS 12.2.1. How did you figure out it's caused by this extension?
I have the same issue.
@siamumar I found out it was caused by the extension after reading https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/138722 and disabling / enabling the extension on my machine.

I used the extension bisect feature of vscode! Really useful.
