Same issue. I had to run my own extension bisect (quitting and reopening) to find out it was this extension 😒

Can confirm the issue (using Big Sur).

Same here! So annoying! And so hard to track down the source of this issue. I went as far as upgrading macOS to see if it'll fix the issue. Changed my dock settings, changed VS Code settings. Never imagined an extension can have such an effect.
