issue-comments feature

gitli seem to have an undocumented feature to write comments. if not, what is the usefulness of .gitli/.issue-comments?

Is it functionnal or was it a projected feature extension?

The comment command is in the develop branch, which I never merged into master for lack of time/interest. See the readme of the develop branch here: https://github.com/bartdag/gitli/tree/develop

Yeah! I've seen your project is not active since a (very) long time. But Its really interesting. A minimalist cli tool for issue tracking embedded in git. Have you replace it by a more mature tool? Or you just dont need it anymore?
