FYI there's a fork of this project at https://github.com/alphascorp/Monterey-micropatcher that simply replaces "Big Sur" with "Monterey" in the various scripts. But this fails half way through installation with the error "A required firmware update could not be installed" even if you have the updated firmware from the 2021-007 Catalina Security Update.

I have question about installation Monterey 12.1 on my Mac Pro 5.1 with Big Sur 11.1 via https://github.com/barrykn/big-sur-micropatcher) - Can I install and avoiding Race Condition? I ask because "Sur Plus" no longer required in Macos Monterey 12.1.
