hi,

please add the rightclick option with the "what is here" entry where it shows you that exact marked spot as longditue and latitude. other than that it is just a bit slow but very close to the classic google maps.

Adding a context menu is not easy.

... however, have just added a dynamic coordinates display, that shows the lat/long of the mouse cursor.

Click the map once to 'freeze' the coordinates (so can for example select them to copy/paste); and then click again anywhere on the map to unfreeze!

hi,

the feature is great and i like the idea that you can freeze the coordinates with a click so you can easily copy and paste. fantastic i would like to thank you for doing that. would it be to much to ask, if you could add (maybe as an addition to this feature) the degrees in hours, minutes and seconds as well as the decimal numerals?

like this example:

40.850583,14.230809 / 40°51'2.09"N,14°13'50.91"E

this would be Medaglie D'oro in Arenella in Napoli (Italy)

a standard navigation system like tomtom (maybe not the newest models), can not accept the decimal numerals and will only let you enter degrees in hours, minutes and seconds. if you could have both, that would be great because then i would not have to use another web-page to find out what the decimal numerals translate into hours, minutes and seconds.

other than that i personally would be extremely happy and satisfied with your rebuild of the classic google maps. please keep up the great work.

kind regards

There is a work-around - Use the cursor to position the point you want just at the top edge of the map window.
Release the left-click button. Then slide the cursor up off the map, highlight the lat/lon, right-click and copy it.

no no no, this is what i would like:

40.850583,14.230809 / 40°51'2.09"N,14°13'50.91"E

both together like the above. both constantly changing like the numeral numbers but also the same for the lat/long in degrees, mins and secs.

just like my example. nothing more.

I often use the coordinates just to send this to friends and say "It is there. Look." I, however, have some problems selecting that coordinate text on top, especially the 1st digit. If I am unprecise, it also selects "Search|directions|Options". Can you make it more reliable? For example, put it in a read-only (gray) edit-field. Then one can even use Ctrl+A to select both coords at ones. Or small [copy] button next to it to copy to clipboard?

From # 48 - It would be very helpful to have the context menu items: "Get directions from here" and "Get directions to here." Is there another way to implement this functionality when using the "Directions" tab? [ I see "TODO!" "More options for directions:" in the "Search" tab. ]

P.S.: I use Class G Maps many times a day. A huge Thank You for this tool.
