Filter for tasks

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue 9 years ago • 5 comments

It would be useful to be able to apply filter/s to:
   Task Name
   Begin Date
   End Date
   Completion
   Resource

And quick filters to show (and print):
   Active Tasks
   Incomplete Tasks
Selectable period "look ahead" (eg two week look ahead of incomplete tasks)

This issue addresses quite a few features. I am changing its type to
"discussion", and will link more specific enhancement requests to this issue
as they come

The first: issue #580

It would indeed be nice to hide completed tasks. (without deleting them)

I have a project with about 600 tasks. I also find it the first priority to
hide completed ones. There should be a checkbox+hotkey for it on the main
screen. Only then comes the rest: filter tasks on other properties:
- completion (less than x percent, more than x percent, exactly x percent)
- priority
- any associated resource name
- any associated resource role
- coordinator resource name
- timeframe (by begin and/or end date)
- milestones/no milestones

Hiding completed tasks would indeed be useful… Could you implement that new feature? Thanks!
