firefox 4.0 compatibility
Hi,
MozRepl is an indispensable tool for hacking webapps and js. However I'm using firefox 4.0b6 now.
Any plans to make it 4.0 compatible?
hi aadis, sure... we can't live on firefox without mozrepl :-)
I've worked a bit this summer to fix mozrepl loading on firefox 4 on an experimental branch (http://github.com/rpl/mozrepl/tree/firefox4).
In the next weeks I'll work again on it to fix any other incompatibilities.
I've just submitted a mozrepl beta version with Firefox 4.0 / Firefox Mobile 4.0 support (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/264678/)
That addon link redirects to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mozrepl/ which says Firefox 3.0 - 3.6.*. Trying to install it on 4.0b10pre gets a "MozRepl could not be installed because it is not compatible..." error.
We are trying to find a workaround to get it works on firefox 3.6 and 4.0 using the same codebase, in the mean time you can try this beta:
