Embedded Visio won't paint right

Embedded Visio seems to have a few problems when drawn inside a grid inside a "Redirected" airspace decorator:

• Doesn't paint properly
• The stencils sidebar responds correctly to mouse input but its "ghost" image appears far away on the window
• Does not appear to respond to click events or drag and drop as expected

This might be a Visio specific issue or it might go deeper into more WinForms controls.
