This is what the keybinding looks like on my editor, typing `\` alone should be enough to invoke the input method.  Could you please share what your keybinding looks...

Does it pops that next symbol suggestion thingy when you simply type `\`?

I've send a patch, please update to the latest version and see if the problem still persists

Does other commands also have this problem, or is it just `agda-mode:input-symbol` ? Is it possible that the keystroke got overridden by other packages, which also occupies `\`

Oh, I added `alt-/` on purpose dated back when you said it's the same combination as for `\`
