What's the purpose of this BaryonSTM

Didn't understand anything from this repo, is it finished yet? Or maybe some explanation should be published on wiki?

You apparently can flash this code to a "STM32 Blue Pill" wired up to a PSP Battery. Then it will boot the battery in Service Mode. So to my understanding, it's like Baryon Sweeper, but without the need to use a computer.
