Ah, thanks for ticketing this. I was thinking we should use https://www.npmjs.com/package/debug and turn it on/off with a config variables

Sure, sounds good. I was going to start on this now given the other bug is being handled balena side.

Update: We have a specific debug label, but currently no way to turn debug mode on or off on the fly. Until the debug mode is on, so as to not lose any logs.
