Portable version doesn't seem to work anymore

• Etcher version: 1.18.4 portable
• Operating system and architecture: windows 10 x64
• Image flashed: any image
• What do you think should have happened: it should complete successfully
• What happened: issue flashing unsuccessful error at the end of flashing process
• Do you see any meaningful error information in the DevTools?

Version 1.7.9 portable doesn't demonstrate such behavior and flashing completes successfully. It is possible that antivirus scan of USB drive is involved, but in same conditions and environment version 1.7.9 complete flashing without errors.

After completion of flashing, despite of error message, it looks like image is working, but because of error I don;t know if all is OK

What is happening to me is that all batch scripts created in the temp folder are deleted after a few seconds, then Etcher complains they are missing after writing the img but before verifying.

The latest version I have working OK is balenaEtcher-Portable-1.14.3
