folder disappear on initial cloning operation

Open nonnenmacher opened this issue 13 years ago • 1 comments

when trying to clone 'elasticsearch / elasticsearch.github.com' project, the folder is deleted before the cloning operation begin, so the initial clone is never synched.

Doing the git clone by hand with a terminal and then add it to the github-mac repositories, works well.

So I suppose it has something to do with the '.' in directory name

Not related with the '.'

I was trying to clone some private repos today via app, the repos are from my organization acc.

  • selected the repo via app and started the clone process
  • the folder is created (saw in terminal) and the app moves the repo into to the top
  • after a while it comes with and alert box saying the repo is being cloned (rly?)
  • then I ls in my terminal and the folder is gone
  • the repo info in my app remains in the top, but frozen there, nothing I can do to change it.

I tested it in 2 macs, with version 1.0.6.

As said, I can still clone the repo via CLI.
