Some users need a feature which enables recording and exporting as video.

OpenCV could be a good tool when exploring this issue. It's C++ (or python) and crossplatform with a comprehensive API and documentation.

Thanks, I've been considering to use ffmpeg to export the viewport as video. Does OpenCV have any API to handle around encoding?
