The Scheme Switch patch enables dwm to store more than one color scheme, so it is easy to switch between them without recompilation.

I'd be glad if it is included.

There many conceptually bad patches out there, this is one of them.

You have a lot more flexibility when it comes to Xresources, I'd recommend that you look into the xrdb patch instead.
