pandoc-csv2table: Error in $: expected product (:*:), encountered Object

I'm getting the above error from a previously working set up---probably caused by upgrading to High Sierra on the Mac, I guess. Any idea what might be causing this? I'm using version 1.0.5 installed via Cabal.
