Product reviews / stars from variations to parent

I have now created configurable products that have variations, but these variations are also set as "visible individually". The problem is that if you have reviews on this product's directly ("variation"), they are not shown on the parent product, nor are they have shown when this variation is selected from the "main" configurable product. I have used configuration because I don't like the part when you are in the listing, and you want to add to cart a product that has variations, when you click on add to cart, it takes you to the product page, from where you have to then select a variation, and then add to basket. First is not a good user experience, and second too many steps and people are lazy / in a hurry, else they bounce.

Describe the solution you'd like

That the reviews / stars from the variation, are also visible on the main product, and maybe also the other way around.
