Getting some Shivering on the main page when it loads
hey bro, great content there! I am just start digging there! that's an inspiration for me as newcomer. But the main page is giving some shivering effect when it loads, not sure what it is.
I am on kubuntu 21.04, running chrome 101.0.4951.54
I'm not sure I can do a lot about that since the hosting is done by gitbook.com. I'm not sure I understand what "shivering effect" you mean though!
I recorded a loom for that. I didn't find another word for that. https://www.loom.com/share/e95ec63eccf24ec88ff0363e1cfa7102 It seems it's for higher resolution (in my case, 1920x0180)
Curious. I can't reproduce that. Neither do I think I have any means to change that easily...
I imagine. Would be the project to translate to Portuguese? I am considering to do it
Would be the project to translate
I would assume this deserves a separate issue.
I meet the same problem. change the css from:
html {
overflow: hidden
}
to
html {
overflow-y: scroll
}
can solve this problem

I've been making websites for 20+ years and this is definitely one of the weirdest bugs I've ever seen on a web page. The Uncurled logo is literally vibrating on the page. I thought it was just a bad animation choice or something.
+1 to experiencing this issue.
Here's what it looks like on my machine, except much, much faster. My capture doesn't capture the frames fast enough it seems 😅

Specs: Ubuntu 20.04, Chrome, i3 as window manager.
It starts when the main logo loads, I also notice the scrollbar constantly expanding/contracting, which may cause it.
Edit: on a different machine, ubuntu 22.04, chrome/firefox and i3, it doesn't display this issue. Very, very odd.
