Switching timeline make Corebird lose track of the current tweet

Open hfiguiere opened this issue 10 years ago • 8 comments

Switch from the main timeline to the At-reply timeline and back, and it is likely that corebird will have lost the current position. Seems like it reverts to the last tweet where something was done (opened, RTd or fav'd).

Also this happen when just favoriting or retweeting, but not always.

This is kinda invalid since newer versions already do this differently.

And it kinda not work in 0.8 either.

It also happens a lot when I RT a tweet. The key navigation lose track and I end up further back.

This happend because we were click()-ing (or toggling) the RT/fav buttons, causing them to grab focus. Since they aren't visible anymore when keyboard navigating on a tweet, that's not possible anymore. I can't really reproduce any of the other cases (after just fixing a very subtle one).

I'm sorry to necrobump this, but I'm trying to see if a few of the long-standing open issues are actually still relevant. I can't reproduce this anymore. In fact, I haven't been able to reproduce this for a few years now. @hfiguiere: How 'bout you?

no idea I haven't been using it for a couple of years at least.

Are you still willing to test it again some time? If not, then it'd be better to close this issue.
