fine control and typein
Jacky reports
Using the Root control, I was able to roughly tune it to middle C, but even when holding shift, the resolution is too coarse to be able to set it to precise pitches. Ideally, for this purpose, and trying to setup the plugin to track pitch with MTS-ESP active in the project, the preference would be type-ins for Root Frequency...
Although, if holding Shift would enable fine control over setting the frequency of Root, then that might work too...
I pointed out that the BWS control panel allows param types even if the UI doesn't so there's an interim option.
I also notice that the mouse sensitivity is lower than I am used to, at least on Linux. I have not tested on Mac or Windows yet. That means I get more precision than in VCV Rack. But VCV Rack allows you to hold down the control key while moving a knob/slider for fine tuning. I don't know if we can do the same thing in the DAW plugin, but it might be nice.
So you can in loads of plugins but it seems juce::Slider (which i used here and only here) doesn't have this feature!
I'm investigating both. It does seem a bit wonky.
Yeah OK so the problem is our coordinate transform to mm vs pixels. have a fix coming that makes the throws better and ctrl/cmd work to do fine drags
