Hi. I'm a Software Architect at Alithya, a tech consultancy company based in Canada. I'm part of the Architecture Counsel and I'm currently working with @fjudith (with whom I helped making contributions to the lighthouse plugin) bringing companies onboard Backstage, including Beneva (Canadian insurance company). Together, we've been bringing issues and solutions like migrating backend plugins to the new backend system (locally), creating modules like identity resolvers for authentication purposes and implementing spotify's RBAC plugin and policies.

Lately, I've been interested in bringing full i18n integration across most core plugins like the catalog (table headers are not yet been able to translate) and new frontend migration to frontend plugins. Language is a big thing in Canada, specially in Quebec (Loi 51) which forces companies to use tools available (or potentially made available) in French.
Hi! Sorry, but we'll need to stick to our documented requirements for becoming an org member that's outlined in our goverenance. You can still contribute and participate in the community all the same though!
