Summary

  • Be able to see the OpenEBS clusters and CRDs that are currently configured and available
  • Display real time reports of available/consumed/total storage capacity under management
  • Display and manage underlying storage devices & backend
  • Be able to map those to components in Backstage
  • Optional*: Topology view of your storage components
  • Optional*: Display compliance issues and/or perform second day operations such as backup/restore/DR of volumes

(* it requires some research to understand the limitations of the plugin)

OpenEBS is an open source Container Attached Storage project, built using cloud native architecture, simplifies running stateful applications on Kubernetes. OpenEBS is a CNCF Sandbox project.
