Did you install nutty from source on github or via the ppa? Install instructions here: https://babluboy.github.io/nutty/
Try searching for : com.github.babluboy.nutty
Installed via ppa per the install instructions at the link provided

Ok. Try running this command in a terminal:
com.github.babluboy.nutty —debug
If that does not work then run the commands provided on the installation section to build nutty from source. I have not tested personally in Mint, but I think it should work.
