suggestion: use a different/additional call sign for the CLI
First time user to install and run the program as it is provided by synaptic
in Linux Debian 12/bookworm (current branch testing) (tracker).

If an installation from
synaptic
and Debian's repositories is possible, especially without an additional ppa, then https://babluboy.github.io/bookworm/#install should mention this. -
Within the OS and the Xfce4 window manager, the program nests into the group of office programs, just as e.g., gnumeric and zathura, do too. However, the associated command to launch the program isn't the anticipated
bookworm
(which, based calling e.g., zathura from the CLI), butcom.github.babluboy.bookworm
. Suggestion: either usebookworm
instead of the long command, or allowbookworm
as an alternative from the get-go. There shouldn't the need to define an alias in the.bashrc
here.
