Book Cover Image is stretched in Reader

Showing the correct image of the book cover - At the moment unless the ebook specifies a size for the image the image fills the whole content area and appears stretched. Handle this situation by specifying the size such that the image shows nicely

In my tests, covers are showing vastly differently depending on book. Some are stretched, some are clipped, and some are very small.

Would it be possible to make all covers display uniformly such that they are scaled to the greatest size possible given the window size without being clipped?

Practically, the usual effect would be that the cover image reaches from the top of the window to the bottom, and is fully visible.
