preset-ent.targets: browserslist string vs esmodules

Please write in the documentation to which browserlist string preset-env.targets: '...' does targets:{esmodules: true} equate.

Is esmodules:false the same as 'ie11' and esmodules:true the same as 'defaults and not ie 11'?

I like very much the idea of splitting the scripts into type=module/nomodule html script tag, but I do not want to generate module-syntax for very old browsers, that understand 'type=module'.
