Ignore Display Dimming on Launch

When CarPlay starts up, it'll load the splash screen, then go black. I then have to press the home button for it to show. Is there any way of it loading straight in?

Haven't looked into this too much, it seems as though iOS turns the display off when connecting CarPlay as that's something that'd be a convenience when getting into a car
