Right side segment support?

I didn't see anything about right side segments. Is this possible? Caveats?

It's not currently possible. There was a PR a long time ago where someone managed to implement it, but the PR fell by the wayside.

Hi, when can we expect a right side segment? Without this, 1/2 of the line is lost ... Very annoying!
