BUG: ImagePaste doesn't work on Mac

Open MaciejGliwa opened this issue 11 months ago • 2 comments

Describe the bug

Hello,

I'm having issues getting ImagePaste to work in Blender 4.3.2 on Macbook Pro (Apple Silicon). The latest build doesn't work, neither does the 1.8.1 that I was successfully using on my Windows machine (it works great in Blender 4.3.2).

This is the error that I have been getting: File "/Users/mgliwa/Library/Application Support/Blender/4.3/scripts/addons/ImagePaste/imagepaste/operators.py", line 156, in execute clipboard = Clipboard.push(get_save_directory()) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "/Users/mgliwa/Library/Application Support/Blender/4.3/scripts/addons/ImagePaste/imagepaste/clipboard/darwin/darwin.py", line 35, in push from .pasteboard import _native as pasteboard ImportError: cannot import name '_native' from 'ImagePaste.imagepaste.clipboard.darwin.pasteboard' (unknown location)

Image

I use the hotkey control+command+shift+4 on my Mac to capture a section of the screen and put it in the Clipboard.

Let me know if I can do anything else to help fix that bug.

Thank you so much for an awesome addon!

Best,

Maciej

Step to reproduce

On Mac click control+cmd+shift+4 and grab a section of the screen. This should put it in the clipboard. In Blender 4.3.2 go to Add-Image-Paste from Clipboard as Plane
