List highlighting does not work if there is no empty line before the list

If there is no empty line before the start of a list (numbered and unnumbered), the punctuation is not highlighted.

Try out:

The colors are grouped together based on scopes:
+ **Functions**: Orange
+ **Keywords**, **Reserved**: Red

The + signs are not colored/recognized as being a numbered list.
