OS edit navigation whilst in file rename mode disables save ability

Reproduce - go into Rename mode, press CMD+Left to go to the start of the file name.

The selection appears to include the icon at the start, grays out the overall selection and whilst it is possible to still type, you can't save the new name, only press Escape to exit.

does it also rename is incorrectly adds tribar ( ≡ ) to the start of the filename ?
