Toggle complete on project produces task?

Open diego898 opened this issue 10 years ago • 3 comments

If I have:

My Project:
 [ ] task 1
 [ ] task 2

and I use ctrl+d to mark my project as done, then ctrl+d again to undo that, the project becomes a task instead of remaining a project heading as it originally was

Well, completing project is aiming to removing project from list, i.e. if project is empty you convert it into done task and archive it as a reference, at least it was purpose, because previously you couldn’t do with projects anything else.

So I’m not sure, how it should happen? if done task contain colon, then convert it into project? but it may cause unexpected result, since pending task may contain colon, so you have such task—complete it—toggle back and get project instead of task.

I see what you're saying. Im not sure how to best handle this. When projects get completed and archived, they cant really be unarchived can they?

Like ctrl+x, ctrl+v and remove bullet? sure.
